The interview discusses the resources, services, and volunteering opportunities provided by SCORE to help small businesses.

SCORE is a non-profit association committed to aiding small businesses, both for-profit and not-for-profit. The organization has 45 local mentor volunteers who guide clients in various aspects of starting and growing a business. Mary Ann Bell is one such mentor who has been actively involved in providing mentorship.

Mike Hammer's business, Sunset Slush, serves as a case study for SCORE's success. Mike, who has a military background, started the business with his spouse during the pandemic. Located in Bluffton, the business received valuable guidance from SCORE mentors Mary Ann Bell and Craig Houston. They helped Mike with tools, resources, financing, and location selection. Mike learned about SCORE through the Small Business Administration Association.

Due to the pandemic, most of the mentoring and coaching was conducted via Zoom. Mike has also participated in other community activities, such as veteran round tables, and has offered advice to others. He has been involved in consulting and providing insights into the Small Business Administration.

The video shows how SCORE can be a valuable resource for small businesses, especially during challenging times like the pandemic.
